Pregnancy Testing/Confirmation

When that home test turns positive, give us a call. We will first check hormone levels to ensure that the pregnancy is off to a good start. Approximately 7 weeks after your first missed period, we will schedule an ultrasound, an exam, and prenatal blood work to ensure that the pregnancy is healthy. At that visit, we will discuss early pregnancy issues and facilitate your transfer to an obstetrician who will provide prenatal care and deliver your baby. We will help you determine if you need to see a high-risk specialist or a general obstetrician and then find just the right person to fit your needs. We will make sure your obstetrician has all your medical information. Once the baby is born, we look forward to seeing you with back in our office… with baby pictures!
