Minimally Invasive Surgical Options

With a combined 50-year experience of performing hysterectomies, Drs Streicher, Blumenthal and Goldman have a level of expertise rarely found.

Minimally invasive surgical options are techniques that utilize tiny incisions, or no incisions, to accomplish procedures that traditionally require a large abdominal incision. In  minimally invasive procedures the recovery is quicker, and complications minimized. Surgical technology has exploded in the last five years and many women are candidates for minimally invasive options such as such as endometrial ablation, uterine artery embolization, hysteroscopic or laparoscopic procedures.

We present options and alternatives in a balanced, objective and scientific manner. Once you have elected to proceed with surgery, you will know what to expect.
