Menopause Management

The average age of menopause (when estrogen production completely shuts down) is 51 and is often preceded by perimenopausal fluctuations for months, or occasionally, years. Some women have no symptoms as they transition through perimenopause and menopause. The majority of women aren't so lucky and experience mood swings, insomnia, hot flashes, unpredictable bleeding, memory problems, decreased libido and painful, dry intercourse. In addition, there are many other health issues associated with this time of life, such as osteoporosis and metabolic changes. We are here to help.

Many women are good candidates for short- or long-term hormone supplementation, replacement or extension. We are expert at finding just the right combination of hormones to eliminate symptoms safely.

Other women are unable or choose not to take hormones. We provide non-hormonal options and recommendations to relieve unpleasant symptoms that occur as a result of changing estrogen levels, including vaginal dryness, hot flashes, and bone loss.
