Dr. Michelle Baer

 

Dr. Baer is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University.  Prior to joining Gynecologic Specialists of Northwestern, she was a member of the Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation for 15 years.  She has served as the outpatient gynecologist for Children’s Memorial Hospital and as a consultant to pediatricians and gynecologists in the area of adolescent gynecology.  She is on the faculty at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine where she is an assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. 

Dr. Baer's area of clinical interest and expertise is gynecologic care for young women. This includes general gynecologic health, contraceptive counseling, the management of amenorrhea and other disorders of menstruation and the evaluation of abnormal pap smears.  Dr. Baer enjoys caring for the gynecologic needs of women of all ages and centers her practice on preventive care and medical and minor surgical management.  She also evaluates gynecologic conditions such as perimenopause and menopause.

Dr. Baer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of The North American Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
