and treatment of gynecologic problems.
In addition, she saw women from their first
prenatal visit to the beginning of labor. She
brings with her a wealth of experience
in patient care and education.
Ashley received her undergraduate degree
in biological sciences from the University

graduate degree in 2004.
Physician assistants are health care professionals
licensed to practice medicine with physician
supervision. As part of their comprehensive
responsibilities, PAs conduct physical
exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order
and interpret tests, counsel on preventive
health care, assist in surgery, and in
virtually all states can write prescriptions.
Upon
graduation, physician assistants take a
national certification examination developed
by the National Commission on Certification
of PAs in conjunction with the National
Board of Medical Examiners.
